Stop reinventing the wheel and take advantage of a proven, maintained, trusted solution with heritage.
We would love to post your testimonials here!
Keep up on everything OpenC3 and COSMOS
COSMOS brings all the pieces of your system together into a common user interface.
While testing, this might be the custom device you are building, a set of power supplies, a custom simulator device, and an oscilloscope.
During operations, this might be a modem, an antenna control system, and a satellite.
Whatever you need to talk to, COSMOS can handle it. COSMOS sends commands to devices, receives data (telemetry), breaks the data up into understandable pieces, logs everything, and provides you with a modern scripting system to automate everything together.
Of course. Support is included with COSMOS Enterprise and is available to purchase in40-hour increments for COSMOS Core.
There are many ways, but the most important is ease of use and configuration. One of the main goals of COSMOS is to enable companies to configure their own C2 systems with their existing engineers, saving millions of dollars by avoiding the need to hire expensive contractors.
Beyond that, we use modern technologies, provide all code to our customers, have an open architecture and design, use modern CI/CD processes, and our scripting system is one-of-a-kind with line-by-line highlighting of two, full-featured programming languages, Ruby and Python. Download our open source COSMOS Core on your own machine and see for yourself.
COSMOS Enterprise builds upon our open source COSMOS Core, enabling true, multi-user environments.
This means:
1. Multi-User Accounts
2. Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
3. LDAP Support
4. Support for Public and Private Clouds
5. Kubernetes Support
6. Calendar and Autonomic (automation engine)
7. Direct Access to COSMOS Developers
8. Commercial license agreement
9. And much, much more!
Check out our COSMOS Enterprise page for more details.
We currently offer two different training courses. Each is one day in duration and can be done remotely or on site.
Intro to COSMOS starts by covering all of our tools and how they are configured. The second half day of the day is spent writing quality scripts.
Configuring COSMOS is devoted to creating COSMOS plugins. Plugins allow you to add any hardware to the COSMOS system through Interfaces and Targets. You can also build custom COSMOS tools, custom telemetry screen widgets, your own background microservices, as well as routers.
COSMOS started as a personal project in 2006, before being used to support integration and test of the SBSS satellite. From there it took off and became the standard tool for I&T for the entire company. COSMOS was open sourced at the end of 2014, and is now used around the world to build, test, and operate everything from satellites to robots. So 19 years so far...
