Merry Christmas from OpenC3!

COSMOS 6 is here! 10 years to the day from the original open source of COSMOS 3 and almost 3 years since the initial COSMOS 5 release. COSMOS 6 maintains the COSMOS 5 architecture and updates our application to Vue 3, Vuetify 3, and Traefik 3. We also upgraded the build system to vite which will result in dramatically faster build times if you're building from source. Most users will simply need to update their traefik config, update their .env and stop and run. If you've created custom tools we have a detailed writeup to help with the transition.

Another "feature" of COSMOS 6 is our updated documentation which has been live for a week or so. We pride ourselves on good documentation but fell behind as we added many new accessors, protocols and interfaces over the past 2 years. We now have a new Accessors page as well as updated Protocols and Interfaces which fully document all the base and Enterprise features.

We're very excited about our roadmap for COSMOS 6.1 and beyond so stay tuned as we look forward to another great year of OpenC3 COSMOS in 2025!
